Before becoming a business owner and consultant, Sal Rivera graduated with a BA in history from Arizona State University and a JD from the University of Chicago. He began his law career as an associate at Fennemore Craig, a business-focused law firm. Sal Rivera represented companies of various sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. His responsibilities included providing leadership within the Firm and litigation practice group and handling trials, mediations and arbitrations.
Mr. Rivera rose to the position of partner at Fennemore Craig. After 15 years with the firm, he left to start the Rivera Law Firm. At his Phoenix-based law office, he represented companies in lawsuits, meditations, arbitrations, and other disputes. He also advocated for increasing diversity and inclusion in the legal community.
Today, Mr. Rivera advises clients on business strategies and cybersecurity through his business consultancy. He maintains an interest in diversity and inclusion in the legal world and enjoys spending his free time serving his community.
